We wondered the same thing when Ivan received his prostate cancer diagnosis in March of 2012. The beauty of healing cancer naturally through food, nutrition and lifestyle changes is that other medical conditions will be healed, too. We have had people with type 1 diabetes, inflammatory disease and cognitive problems report that their conditions were also healed. And after only three months of following the Misner Plan, our good friend, Mark Hackbarth, learned that his bladder cancer was in remission.When Ivan’s cancer was diagnosed, he was told he had time to learn more about his cancer treatment options. He used that time to learn more about how to build up his immune system, how to engage his body’s natural Killer cells and how to induce apoptosis, or cell death, within the malignant tumor. And within nine months, his urologist called to tell him he was in remission . . . BEFORE he chose any of the cancer treatment options he was studying.We had heard others talking about how it can be possible to recover health without doing traditional medical interventions for conditions such as cancer, but we never knew anyone personally who had done it. And if Ivan’s urologist had not reassured him that his cancer was the slow growing type and that he had time to research all the options, we are not sure we would have started down this path. Fortunately, Ivan had his doctor’s support and encouragement.We also want you to know how this wonderful experience has inspired us to share our story in a way which has made the members of our corporate team healthier, and, therefore, more productive, and has spilled out into the field to our franchise owners and the members of our company, BNI®.This is not only the story of our experiences during this time and all the amazing things we learned along the way, but also a guide on how to put our plan – the Misner Plan – into effect in your own life.What we have learned about the Misner Plan is that it has the potential to move your body into better health no matter what condition you may be experiencing. For example, Beth has recovered her hearing, lowered her cholesterol, and recovered normal thyroid function. Ivan lost over 40 pounds following the Misner Plan, in addition to going into remission. Others who have implemented it have normalized their blood sugar levels, been able to get off prescription medications, and recovered from autoimmune diseases.
